*The candle–sculpture is inspired by the ancient sculpture Farnese Hercules. This iconic statue was created in the early 3rd century AD by Glykon, based on a 4th-century BC original. It was made for the Baths of Caracalla in Rome (inaugurated in AD 216), where it was rediscovered in 1546.
Handcrafted using a wax casting method, the candle–sculpture is heavy and solid. It is perfectly suited for classical-style interiors, dark art aesthetics, and collectors with a taste for the dramatic and macabre.
